This is a new and enlarged edition of a work which has stood in the front rank of the many brief manuals dealing with the physio-psychological requisites for creative sexual adaptation. Textual improvements have been made throughout the various editions. The revised American edition of 1932 offered exact proportional scale drawings by Dr. R. L. Dickinson of the National Committee on Maternal Health, as well as lines of re-editing suggested by him. Dr. Wright has added to the present edition three chapters on the menopause, menstruation, and birth control respectively. There are introductions by A. Herbert Gray—from the ministerial viewpoint—and by Abel Gregg. The text is sound and well grounded in biological fact and should have extended usefulness in the purposes for which it was written.
