Here is a book of 460 pages which would tell all about the sex life and its maladjustments, since the author tells us he looked in vain through the profuse literature that would do justice to the true needs of the inquirers.
There must have been a lot he overlooked but be this as it may be he has written an excellent text which is a bit fuller in detail than many of its contemporaries.
Thus he begins with the male and female biologically, on to the male and female sex apparatus, the male function and the female function, sexual intercourse, the wedding night and honeymoon, sexual hygiene, fertility, birth control, abortion, contraception, sterility, sexual disturbances such as impotency, frigidity, syphilis, gonorrhea, prostitution, the development of sexuality in the child, the unmarried, the married, and finally the solution.
There are a number of illustrations which are of a higher order than is usual in this type of work. Plate 8 of the penis and its accessory sexual parts as an example.
We have read most of the book and find it ‘safe and sane’ and hence can recommend it.
