Abstract

The first edition of this book appeared in the German language in 1933. It deals with many characteristics of individuals, groups and of mass behavior, in terms of psychoanalytic concepts, several of which deviate from the orthodox Freudian psychology. There are special considerations of the ideology of the middle class family, the Nazi race ideology, the Nazi variety of propaganda, and of the leftist political activities following World War I.
