Juvenile delinquency is considered to be a disease of society over the civilized world, and although there are certain types that are probably deeply seated constitutionally its over all significance as a problem of society is hardly debatable. The problem has been approached from many different angles but not particularly scientifically. This book shows how several problems of delinquency can be submitted to psychoanalytic study and treatment. It can be used by workers in this field as a guide and as a basis for further research into this failure to adapt socially. A variety of case histories are given to illustrate some of the reaction types. Those persons working with offenders should read it.
