In recent years there has been an increasing interest in telepathy on the part of those dealing directly with neuroses and psychoses. In the past as in the present it has received a liberal share of pseudoscientific investigation. This book by Dr. Ehrenwald of the Department of Psychiatry of the Long Island Medical College represents a serious attempt to marshal evidence to show that telepathic phenomena are subject to psychological laws similar to those governing dreams, and various neurotic symptoms. His hypotheses deserve a thorough critical study by psychoanalysts and others who will discover many thought stimulating concepts.
