There is a total of nearly 300 diseases discussed from the standpoint of therapy only. It is assumed that the diagnosis has been established and therefore the space is devoted to “the latest method of treatment of a particular condition … a method that has been endorsed and is currently used by a competent authority.” The therapeutic procedures recommended are precisely stated and definite. The general table of contents and the separate table of contents preceding each section, as well as the index, serve to locate promptly any of the topics desired.
This up to date publication on treatment should be of great value to the specialist and indispensable to the practicing physician as it is fully authoritative and the contents reflect the experience of competent workers.
