These two brief essays deal with an ancient subject from a fresh viewpoint which includes both general and individual factors at work in our society. Various fears, the social psychology of antisemitism, numerous misconceptions, the nature of unconscious nationalism and the causes of basic tensions in the total situation are among the aspects and issues discussed in an interesting formulation of the problems.
