This annual volume continues to be an excellent reference source for students and investigators in the disciplines covered. The present text reviews over three thousand items from the literature of 1952, including the areas of clinical neurology and psychiatry, neurosurgery, and related contributions from the basic sciences. The contributors are, as usual, universally well known in their particular fields, and with its editor have done an excellent job of selecting the material in proper balance in the face of an ever increasing amount of scientific literature that becomes available through the year. As in previous
