It is with personal pride and satisfaction that I am able to report the discovery of a long and exceedingly emotional letter that Freud wrote to Jung after the tatter's fantastic “Poltergeist” demonstration in Freud's study on March 25, 1909.
It must be the almost unbelievable contents of this letter that made Ernest Jones, in his biography of Freud, pass over it with a few fleeting remarks.
My thanks are extended to Ernest L. Freud for his permission, in the name of Sigmund Freud Copyrights, Ltd., to publish this remarkable letter in full.—n.f.
