The Sex-Life Letters consists of nearly four hundred letters about sex culled from among five thousand that were published in Forum Magazine. The letters reflect all varieties of sexual experience and sexual anxieties such as about deviance, size of penis, and size of breasts. The comments that are included by the editorial board of Forum or the editors of the collection are informative and objective. In a reassuring manner they emphasize that sex is a very personal experience and that its expression may include many variations. However, the book is obviously geared to a lay audience and die explanations do not attempt a great deal of depth.
