Femininity is an important concept for both sexes. The dichotomy masculinity and femininity becomes one of the most important issues that is worked on, starting with phallic stage in psychosexual development. This issue can also include former anal-sadistic stage through regression. Despite confusions regarding the psychic definition of the terms, the concepts “active” and “passive” are also part of this dichotomy. This article tries to focus on femininity in the male, around masculinity-femininity, active-passive and sadism-masochism dichotomies.
