This article refers to the relationship between two words (Loneliness-Mistake) that are used in place of each other because of sound similarity (Yalnızlık-Yanlışlık) in Turkish. The article focuses on the definitions and differences of individual cases of loneliness and aloneness.
While addressing these differences, it is emphasized how the human baby is involved in the network of relationships throughout the developmental process. It's argued that to take “self” as an isolated mind is a mistake and it's always an intersubjective entity. This emphasis is examined by the contributions of theorists such as Winnicott, Stern, Bowlby, Laing, Stolorow, Lichtenberg.
