In child psychoanalysis the frame acquires a particular value, as the analyst finds himself/herself as the object of the transferences of the parents, the brothers or sisters, other familiars and even the teachers. The same psychoanalytic principles valid in adult analysis, such as the analysis of transference, working with resistances, interpretation of dreams, apply to child analysis. However, the technique and the use of the play is specific to child analysis to the extent that the child does not dispose a developped level of language and symbolization like the adult. Another important aspect is to know who speaks by means of the symptom of the child? To whom is it addressed? The symptom appears as a codified language whose signification stays unknown for the child and is directed at the parents.
