Ribas, reveals in his article, the treatment of childhood autism in day care centers, the important gains provided by the therapeutic work given in the institution and the limits faced. He focuses not only on decreasing the frequency and the intensity of the symptoms and pathological defenses but at the same time on supporting the psychic structure. He analyses the efficiency of the day care center educationally, pedagogically and therapeutically. He regards the relationship work, carried out by the members of the institution, that contains the autistic fragmentation psychically as the realization work of impulsive entanglement that is extremely deficient for the patient who has an autistic psychic structure and for people around him.
