Psychoanalysis gives a big importance to the relationship during the individual's psychic development. The most important relationship is created between the child and his mother. For this reason many psycho- analysts beginning with Sigmund Freud, and the others like Donald Winnicott, Melanie Klein, Wilfred Bion, André Green, Denise Braun- schweig propose some concepts above the motherhood and maternity. For example; maternal and maternal object, mother as a sexual object, archaic mother, phallic mother, maternal care-mothering, good enough mother, primary maternal preoccupation, mother's capacity for reverie, maternal love, censorship of the lower, maternal erotic, complex of the dead mother.
