Thanks to two clinical cases of adolescents whose problematic is dominated by acting to the detriment of language, the author essays to demonstrate in what consists the therapeutical procedure to adopt with these patients marked by a deficit of presentation and metallization. In one of the cases, the author refers to the clinic of trauma and borderline states, that is the clinic of negativity beyond the field of neurosis. With this kind of patients, the analyst should proceed to a veritable work of figurability in order to allow the transformation of drive impulses of the Id to unconscious representations of the Ego and the transformation of thing presentations to word presentations. Thus the objective of the work is to facilitate the passage of force to meaning, the quantitative to qualitative. The illustrated cases subscribe in the framework of a clinic of adolescence, which requires frequently, even with ordinary adolescents, an adapted therapeutical approach. In fact, in this crisis of passage that corresponds to adolescence, the risk of being overwhelmed by excitation is high. With the question of the quantitative, temporality and identity construction become central issues. For the adolescent, the access to a language that he can share with the adult goes together with the integration of temporality and appropriation of his identifications. In the two clinical cases that the author develops, she tries to demonstrate the aspects that correspond to the work of presentation and subjectivation during these treatments.
