Language is able to provide meanings for human beings to survive. In this survival process the elaboration of the language by adults, provides youth an ability to understand themselves. The origin of this ability goes back to infancy, to the relationship of the baby and the mother. She is able to grasp the affects of the infant and translate them into words. The child is surrounded by this envelope of meanings and learns to relate words to thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Later during adolescence this ability will be allow youth to establish a self understanding. Otherwise as indicated in some artifacts of Ridley, Golding, Passolini, Haneke, youth without the meanings of language, turns to be exterminators since they can not find any meaning to their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Thus the school as a center of language use and teachers are able to help adolescents to find their meanings thanks to the use of opportunities of language. Teachers may function as basic caregivers for the adolescent, who is a new born in the life of the adults.
