Psychoanalysis can make an important contribution to the field of education. Educational approach tends to suppress all unwanted feelings. This process of education creates psychological problems in human beings because they return to the consciousness in the form of pathologies. As a result the lives of the adults become unproductive and they are unhappy. In this case education may adopt some changes to understand and handle the uncanny feelings that arise and try to educate children, so that only some part of them may be repressed while the other part may be integrated productively in terms of conscious life. From this perspective, pediatricians may help educators since they are experienced as to infant observations. Besides these observations share many common points with psychoanalytic theory. Based on this new knowledge, education may benefit deeply from psychoanalytic theory and thus provide a psychologically healthy environment to students.
