Body percussion is a combination of movements that create sounds in the body. We develop mechanisms so that the body can be transformed into an instrument. With these mechanisms, we can obtain the unity of the pieces of the movement. The body percussion or the music of the body becomes alive with the awareness of the “movement-that-leads-to-sound” and with the ability to surrender oneself to gravity. And in this process, with fluidity, time and space disappears; everything flows like water with a deep sense of peace and happiness, accompanied by spontaneous joy. Expectations are naturally met. The voluntary connections we make with body have a positive impact on learning effectiveness. As our awareness and connection to the body movements and the resulting rhythms increases, there is an expansion of our feeling of rhythm. And thisis demonstrated in the saying of “Every Body Hears”, that willing and eager bodies can be transformed into an instrument and can be played resonating together.
