This article reviews the life of André Green following the steps of the development of his theory. His views on Narcissism, Affect, the Dead Mother, the Work of the Negative, and Temporality has deeply affected the psychoanalytical theory. His biography also reflects a respect to the thinkers he owes to through his theoretical and psychoanalytical life voyage.
