This paper deals with the subject of ‘jealousy’, by referring to William Shakespeare's well-known masterpieces, Othello and The Winter's Tale. To understand Shakespearian heros, Sigmund Freud's paper ‘Some Neurotic Mechanisms in Jealousy, Paranoia and Homosexuality’ has been used as the main tool.
