Michel de M'Uzan is one of the outstanding names of the current French psychoanalysis. First of all, it is necessary to highlight the fact that he is one of the founders of Paris Psychosomatic Institute (IPSO) in 1972 together with P.Marty, C.David, M.Fain, D.Braunschweig and C.Parat. M. de M'Uzan has put forward concepts such as psychological chimera, depersonalisation, and scandal of identity which are very functional concepts in psychoanalytical practice. He has also defined vital-identity field along with the sexual-drive field. It is also necessary to emphasize that his inclination to creative act has led to his production of literary work on one hand, forming a bridge between artistic creation and psychoanalytic work on the other.
