In his paper “Reverie and Interpretation”, Ogden explains what he means by reverie and how he benefits from the overlapping reveries of the analyst and the analysand. Reverie evolving into interpretation moves analysis forward and makes transformation happen. This paper aims to track Ogden's ideas and interpretation by examining his papers on the fundamental rules of the analytic session, the projective identification, the analytic third and reverie.
