This article aims to discuss the meaning of love, its place in psychoanalysis and its relation to fear. It is not possible to speak psychoanalysis without mentioning love. This is because psychoanalysis means love. However, in psychoanalysis, love always begins with fear. With the expression of love, it brings both unification and separation/loss in time. Under the theme of loss and separation, this article discusses the subject of love during stages of development and love in psychoanalysis.
