Our contemporary world and its problematics involves a reflexion on our theoretical and clinical perspective about new subjectivities and its relation with castration. According to Freud, anxiety, is an affect which has a function of signal for the subject, as an effect of a fundamental loss. In Lacanian approach, anxiety as an effect of the Unheimlich (Uncanny), is not object-less and refers to the moment when the lack is lacking. This comprehension gives a structure to the anxiety as an effect of the Real, which means that it does not refer to the signifier, and so the castration becomes a symbolic statute of the impossibility. The aim of this paper is to assert that this approach would find a way out from today's clinical structures to the psychoanalytic praxis.
