The English psychoanalyst Donald Meltzer (1922-2004) has developed an original theory of dreams. In his book Dream-Life he criticizes Sigmund Freud's The interpretation of dreams and parting from the theories of Melanie Klein and Wilfred R. Bion, advances a new approach to dreams but also to fantasies and thoughts.
