Andre Haynal traces the footprint of the countertransference phenomena in the work of Ferenczi. Through detailed reading of many of Ferenczi's work with a strong emphasis on his thoughts expressed in his clinical diary he claims that Ferenczi is the pionner of contemprory psychoanalysis.
