Childhood years are times when changes and transformations of psychic structures occur much faster than in the advancing years. To name all the difficulties in the formation of psychic structures in childhood as psychosis, would freeze our emphasis on the “process”. That is why the title of the paper is “Psychotic States in Children”. I tried to discuss the psychotic structuring from the perspective of especially the object relations theory while looking at the psychic dynamics as observed in the clinical work. I tried to present the work of the analyst with the child in psychotic organisation and with his/her parents through the concepts of void, counter transference and creativity.
