In this writing, it is aimed to address ideal, the malady of ideal and specifically pathological aspect of the ego ideal. Firstly, the writing begins with comparing being conscious or unconscious, then focus on ego ideal as a pathological construction. The main hypothesis considers pathological ideal as a construction which originally intended to transform the history of the subject. That is why, a pathological ideal is turned towards past.
