The literature on the comic agrees that it originated in a community. This view, looking from the other end, was expressed by Mustafa Şekip Tunç that it is not a good sign to laugh alone. Similarly, Sigmund Freud defines jokes as “unfinished” work, pointing to William Shakespeare’s line “A jest’s prosperity lies in the ear / of him that hears it, never in the tongue”.
This work follows a similar way to the twin brotherhood relationship in the process of completing the joke. The two lines are intended to show the twin in the joke-work. First, that the joke work is a call for twins and that a couple is needed to complete the joke-work; in the second, the use of humor in the relationship of the twins establishes the ground that ensures their unity and includes a nostalgia.
