Freud's “Analysis of a Phobia in a Five-Year-Old Child” (1909) is one of the pioneering texts of psychoanalysis, which has been revisited for over a century and has stimulated much new work. In the centenary year of the case's publication, the publication of Little Hans’ autobiography and Kurt Eissler's earlier interviews with Herbert and Max Graf made it possible to re-evaluate Little Hans. Forty-nine articles in PEP (Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing) under the title “Little Hans” revisit salient aspects of the case that had been overlooked since its publication from different perspectives. In this article, the articles in which trauma, child abuse, parental relationship, preoedipal mother-child relationship were discussed as important and prominent issues are reviewed.
