This paper; includes the course of my readings on the case of Little Hans, which I have done in different periods over about 20 years, firstly, in the context of the concept of ‘desire’, what Freud, Hans and Hans's father's desires could be, and then whether Little Hans was adequately understood or not and a little bit of the sad history of the Graf family. It dwells on the lightened beings of the mother and younger sister in the story. The paper claims that this case story is a story of uncanniness rather than phobias. Unexpectedly, it seeks answers to questions about how modernism and transhumanism can be used to understand Little Hans, and finally, reflects on the Janusian union of the Sphinx and Jocasta. It starts with tragedy and ends with comedy.
