Dear Friends:
Like Abraham, I have also been considering the technique of our dates. It takes me 20 days to get an answer from Budapest and 14 from Vienna, which often concerns urgent matters. I make a different suggestion, namely, that we all write on the same day, Then we would be sure to be able to get an answer to the penultimate letter, which is often not possible. So far as the actual day is concerned, any of the first three of the week would suit me, best Monday or Tuesday. Please for opinions on this. It would have the further advantage that we would usually have several days after receiving a letter before we need answer it, so that it would not be necessary for Vienna to make more copies for Berlin.
Our discussion on Battle Dreams last week3 was very fruitful and an account of it will appear in the Assoc. Reports. The chief point that issued was that dreams consisting only of pure repetitions of experiences, unmixed and unaltered, are extremely rare, and some observers doubted their occurrence.
Budapest.
I have reviewed Tridon's book for4 the J. It is not worth your reading, being only bad journalism.
Stanley Hall5 & Morton Prince6 have sent best wishes for the J. The former inquired kindly about Professor and said he had written to him more than once during the war, without answer.7
