Dear Friends:
The Vienna letter has not yet arrived. I am grateful to Abraham and Ferenczi for their kind expression of concern. I am glad to say that I am much better and hope to return to London in a few days time.
At our last meeting a visitor, named Gough, who is an educationalist and also anthropologist, read some notes of a large series of children's dreams collection from Eastern Europe. An interesting feature was that they showed, especially in Czecho-Slovakia and Greece, a remarkable frequency of astronomical symbolism.2
James McCann, who pirated Prof.'s books on Dreams, has succumbed to our bombardment and I hope we shall be able to reduce him to our terms. I have sent the details of the matter direct to Professor.
I fully agree with what Ferenczi says about Róheim and shall be most interested to hear the result of the Cambridge matter.
Silberer has sent me an extremely affable letter, about which I am asking for Prof.'s advice. I enclose his letter, with my answer, in the Vienna letter.3
A very complimentary letter about the Journal came from Oberndorf. With cordial greetings to all yours
Ernest Jones.
