Dear Friends:
The only news this week is that a circle has been formed in Porth, a small town in South Wales, for the purpose of studying Psa, chiefly teachers, and that their secretary has asked me about affiliation to the British Society. I have written to him inquiring for more information, but it is probable that such circles may become more common and so I should be glad if the members will express their opinions as to how to deal with them. In what stage does the matter stand at present with Voitel - Leipzig?
I should take Bonhoeffer's remark about Bleuler with a grain of salt. It is possible that he took advantage of some lack of enthusiasm on Bl's part to convert this into a decided negative. That Bl. is no support to us we have long known.2
It is good to hear that the first two Library books have made a good impression on all sides. We are very curious to see them in London.
Bp. I have written to Badger offering to buy the copyright of your Contributions in English. Frau Varro's brother left your note here, with a message that he would call on me personally after his return from Paris. I shall of course do all I can for him, though I have no illusions as to my influence at the Home Office.
Wien. The Massenpsychologie and the second edition of the Jenseits arrived just today; best thanks. I have again revised the Jenseits translation and will now incorporate the new material.
I shall be curious to see the document from Washington, from Prof. Junker. From the Rundbrief it sounds highly suspicious. How can there be an official state society there? Such things don't exist in America.
If Hermann reviews Jung's book it would be well to translate it for the J.3
