D.M. Black is a Scottish writer and retired Fellow of the British Psychoanalytic Society. His translation and commentary on Dante's Paradiso is due out in the NYRB Classics series in August 2025. A collection of psychoanalytic papers, Psychoanalysis and Ethics: The Necessity of Perspective, was published in 2024.

Thomas Casagrande, PhD, is a retired teacher (PE, English, social studies), political scientist, and author. He has taught at public schools, the German Bookseller School, and the Goethe University in Frankfurt. He is the author of Die Volksdeutsche SS-Division, Prinz Eugen (Campus ), Südtiroler in der Waffen-SS (Raetia ), and Schatten—unsere Väter in der Waffen-SS (Raetia ) and co-author of various books about the Waffen-SS. Thomas Casagrande lives in Frankfurt and regularly holds lectures about the history of the Waffen-SS.

Tamara Martin Causey, PhD, is a psychologist with a clinical practice in Arizona, where she has lived for the past 22 years. Having grown up in the South, her training and career, including teaching, practice, supervision, and crisis intervention, has brought her to the South, Southwest and the Northeast of the United States and allowed her to observe the regional and cultural differences of these areas. She currently finds herself in the unusual juxtaposition of living in a rural, mostly red area of a swing state while also serving as Arizona's Council Representative to the American Psychological Association. In that role, she is continually aware of current policy changes and how they will affect the mental health of our most vulnerable populations. Her goal is to ask and reflect on the “why” questions in order to raise awareness and help people with opposite viewpoints understand each other.

Cara Cruickshank is an educator, artist, and feminist advocate whose work embodies intersectional principles and amplifies marginalized voices. As founder of Voices Unveiled, she provides education and empowerment to Afghan women in regions where e
