Number two of this year's RJP maintains its well-known structure and brings in two new sections, both expected and welcomed.
Therefore, the section Theoretical and clinical psychoanalysis, unmodified, follows the topic of this year's first issue - Impasse, crisis and working-through, connecting this issue with the series of articles previously published. I would like to add a personal comment to what was already said in the previous editorial regarding the topic of impasse and working-through, a comment that is appropriate for this celebration of 25 years since the foundation of the Romanian Society of Psychoanalysis.
Now that, as a society, we've taken unaided steps in this difficult process of maturation and having gone through our own crises, impasses, working-through, plentiful enough to let us know them not from the history of others, but from our own progress, such a topic proves auspicious, the dedicated works gaining consistency and interest. The statute of autonomy, although partial, as it is in this stage of Provisional Society, brought along, on the one hand, the fruition of the things learned in previous stages and on the other hand the difficulties of this new one. And this time, autonomy “dialectically” brought along its avatars: on the one hand, openness and facilities, on the other hand caution, rigidities and risks, namely an entire experience of our own and also concern for the topic.
I dare to think that without impasse, crisis and implicit suffering, a solid foundation for an individual, a group or an institution cannot be established.
