Letter From a Dead Mother to a Ghost Child

Anne Martine Parent, Ph.D., is Professeure agrégée in literary studies in the Department of Arts and Letters at the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi (UQAC). Her areas of expertise include contemporary literature in French, women’s literature, autobiographical practices, and feminist and gender studies. Her current research project addresses the representation of female sexuality in series made for television (Le sexe à l’écran, CRSH 2017-2019). She is also beginning a new research and creative project on chronic pain in women’s writing. Her first poetry collection, Je ne suis pas celle que vous croyez, was published by La Peuplade in 2016.
