Nigel Moore will be known to the readers of The Scandinavian Psychoanalytic Review from his historical paper on psychoanalysis in Sweden and Finland, which was published in the very first issue of this journal.

With this anthology in Swedish, Moore has wanted to introduce psychohistorical science. The book consists of 8 papers which have all previously been published, but here translated into Swedish and annotated. Moore introduces the authors with short, informative biographical notes. Most of the authors can be counted among the most superb representatives of psychoanalysis, inter alia Robert Waelder, Erik H. Erikson, Géza Róheim and Gustav Bychowski.
