With this issue, Anders Zachrisson retires as Editor-in-Chief of The Scandinavian Psychoanalytic Review. He led the editorship from 1993 to 1997, but also processed the manuscripts for the present issue.
Anders Zachrisson has been an excellent editor. Under his leadership, The Scandinavian Psychoanalytic Review has expanded, both in volume and in scope; there has been a growing number of scientific articles, but also an expanding section of “Reports and Brief Communications”.
As an editor, Anders Zachrisson has shown integrity of thought, balance in opinion, but most of all: humane wisdom and generosity. It has been a pleasure to work with him. The Scandinavian Psychoanalytic Societies are grateful for the work he has done.
The editorial policy will continue along the same lines as at present. The editorial board will be glad to receive papers in psychoanalytic theory and practice, in applied psychoanalysis, but also brief communications and reports.
