Dear all !
We have a long and tough 2020 behind us, and as I write this, we are a pretty long way into 2021.
So this is the number that would have come out quite some time ago. Current circumstances that we have all been affected by in various ways have delayed our publication.
I remember writing a few issues ago, that now we had edited, so that delays in publishing would be, much better.
But no, there were other forces that controlled our release in the form of a virus.
And no ‘talk cure’ could help against such an enemy mentioned in everyone’s consciousness. Our ‘talk cure’ will be needed now, for it is an enemy that has put us all in trouble.
We in the editorial staff have suffered a major loss now in 2021, which I would like to mention, even though we write 2020 on the cover page.
Former Editor-in-Chief and our dear, dear colleague Jussi Kotkavirta, have left us after a long illness. We will miss Jussi Kotkavirta as a listener and wise mentor. Our grief is great.
In this issue, Jussi Kotkavirta has written a book review, of Gunnar Karlsson’s book ‘The masculine project. Psychoanalytic and phenomenological reflections’ which is brilliant.
I hope you read and also remember Jussi’s brilliant linguistic and thoughtful analytical ability.
