The Third Pan-American Congress for Psychoanalysis will be held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City, from February 23 to 29, 1969. Dr. Marcel Heiman, Chairman of the Committee on Liaison with Latin American Colleagues, has announced that a full and interesting program is being planned for the Congress.
The first two days will be organized as plenary sessions, with an entire day devoted to each of two topics: “The First Psychoanalytic Hour,” and “Dreams in Contemporary Clinical Psychoanalysis.” A series of workshops will occupy the balance of the program. The official languages of the meeting will be English, Spanish and Portuguese, with simultaneous translation.
Details of the program and other information about the Pan-American Congress, may be obtained from Dr. Marcel Heiman at the Central Office of the Association.
