The Journal of the APsaA will be enlarged for a number of issues in order to catch up with an accumulated back-log of papers. This decision was reached by the Executive Committee — which is also the Administrative Board of the Journal — after Dr. John Frosch, the Editor, had reported that the time lag between submission and publication of papers was becoming unreasonably long.

Dr. Frosch had suggested that the backlog be handled by publishing a supplemental issue or by increasing the number of pages per issue for several issues and the Administrative Board preferred the second of these alternatives.
