Another panel is being planned for the AAAS Meeting to be held in Boston in 1969. The topic selected is “Youth, Ideals, Culture and Conflict.” It will be chaired by Dr. Samuel Ritvo, and other participants are under consideration. Details of the program will be announced at a later date.
The panel on Child Development offered by the Association at the December 1967 meeting of the AAAS was well received by the latter organization, according to Dr. Herman Serota, Chairman of the Committee on Liaison with the AAAS. The panel, which was chaired by Dr. Albert J. Solnit (Newsletter, December, 1967) represented the first occasion on which a program organized by the APsaA was given as part of the meeting of the AAAS. Dr. Serota reported that the Association has been certified as an affiliate of the AAAS in good standing.
