The Denver meeting's special treat for about 30 participants was surely Dr. René A. Spitz' introduction of a twenty minute segment of the video-tape interview by Dr. Maria Piers in which he describes his early days in psychoanalysis and the beginning of his psychoanalysis with Freud in 1910. At the Workshop on Oral History on May 2, 1974, Dr. Spitz also showed two short movies of Freud.
