Dr. Daniel Jaffe will supervise a survey of each member of the A.Psa.A. this spring. The questionnaire should prove useful in studying appropriate approaches by the American to third party-payment, PSRO's, and national health insurance. It will also be valuable for legislators who wish to acquire accurate, current data about the practice of psychoanalysis, and will provide a historical record that may be compared with future data.
The Executive Council approved the allocation of $20,000 to $30,000 for the survey. To obtain this fund, a one-time assessment of $25 for Active Members, $10 for Associate Members and $5 for Affiliate Members will be charged in this year's dues statement.
