The recently established Fund for Psychoanalytic Research invites inquiries from analytic researchers who wish to make application for grants in support of psychoanalytic research. While the directors of the fund have decided, at this time, to leave broad and unspecified the definition of such research, they wish to make clear that until the Fund is more substantial, only modest amounts can be awarded.
The Committee on Scientific Activities also wishes to inform the membership that it is willing to serve as a consulting body to any group or committee within the American that wants to meet with it during its regular twice a year, all day Wednesday meeting, to talk over any problem in psychoanalytic research or scholarship. This consultation should be set up in advance through correspondence with Dr. Robert S. Wallerstein. The Committee on Scientific Activities is willing to devote an hour to an hour and a half of its all day meeting to each such “consultation.”
