At the recent Fall meeting new members of the Association were welcomed into active membership with a special program arranged by the Committee on Affiliate Societies. Dr. Haskell Norman greeted the group, extending an invitation to each member to participate fully in both administrative and scientific functions of the Association. He then introduced Dr. Charles Brenner, who stimulated a lively discussion with the presentation of his paper, “Affects and Psychic Conflict in the Phallic-Oedipal Phase.”

After the scientific meeting the new members were guests at a lunch with the officers of the Association, who described the workings of the national organization, again inviting full participation. Following the lunch, many attended the Executive Council meeting and then joined in the scientific workshop.
