To the Editor:

With some delay—I returned from a European lecture tour only yesterday—I noticed the announcement about my recent award by the Mt. Airy Foundation in the June issue of the Newsletter (p. 9) and wish to thank you for it. However, a little error has crept into the text of the announcement: I never was president of the Psychoanalytic Society of New York, but only president of the Psychoanalytic Association of New York (PANY). This needs correction, as I believe.
