Harold Blum, Editor of the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association, would like to bring to our readers' attention the two Prizes announced in our previous issue. One, consisting of $500, is for an outstanding contribution to the literature. There is no restriction as to author or topic. Another category of Prize is for a clinical contribution derived from supervised analysis, utilizing data from a supervised case, significant observations or inferences, confirmations or challenges as they emerge from the study of an analytic case. The Clinical Contribution Prize is open only to candidates or recent graduates of institutes approved by The American Psychoanalytic Association and IPA.
